Set Up EuroMicro Workshop on Distributed and Parallel Processing

The work being carried out using the facilities of the Centre has resulted in a number publications over the past few years. In particular a series of papers have been produced and presented at EuroMicro Conferences as a result of the work carried out jointly with the Department of Computer Science. This has led to members of the Centre sitting on the EuroMicro Programme Committee and acting as reviewers. As a result of this activity the group suggested that EuroMicro should consider running a workshop on Parallel and Distributed Processing, which was helded in January 1993 and proved to be so successful that it is now established with the EuroMicro calendar.
