This 1.6 MECU project was funded under CEC program on "Interworking with Optical Networks" and involves partners in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The aim of the project was to investigate interworking over a 2MB link between Belfast and Dublin. The project involved included video conferencing, remote access to High Performance Computers, remote access to CD ROM library materials and a tourist information system. The Parallel Centre allowed access to its facilities from the research community within University College Dublin.
