An Introduction to CRAY Y-MP EL
At the beginning of 1993 the computer centre installed a Cray Y-MP Entry
Level System. This machine is a powerful compute server and is intended for
running programs which require a great deal of computer time. It is not
intended to be a general purpose machine such as the Vax9000 system.
