An Introduction to Programming the Meiko using CsTools

The PCC supports a Meiko CS1 which has 20 T800 transputers and 2 i860 processors. This machine is used by a number of researchers to develop parallel algorithms. It is also used by undergraduate and postgraduate classes to learn the principles of parallel programming using message passing. The course material which is available can be given in a variety of forms from a short half day introduction (1 hour lecture plus 2 hour practical) to a 2 day course course covering a detailed explanation of the Meiko hardware and software. These courses are available on request.
